Yes, you did read the title correctly.

We've had some 'fairy' lights (LED) up in our conservatory for a couple of years and they were stuck up with cellotape onto the UPVC fascia above the windows.
Having just removed them when I cleaning the windows yesterday, the cellotape has left some nasty stains.

I've tried UPVC cleaner, white spirit nd even bleach, but they're not shifting - anyone got ideas on a suitable remover please?

Cellulose thinners may do it. Just be careful it doesn't melt any plastic!
