Ok Top Gear is essential viewing on a sunday any way, but how many of us are watching especially to see the Hamster's crash.

Hands up.

I would watch it anyway, so not watching it especially for the crash. Still, interesting to see it though!

I enjoyed it.

But this is a bit harsh :

Car owner blames Hammond for crash - Yahoo! News UK

I don't think I'd remember the briefing at 300mph.

Not seen the programme yet, but wondering why the owner of the car has decided to point the finger of blame at Richard Hammond.

As far as I know no one has blamed the car owner for the tyre deflating have they?

H&S are investigating the accident to apportion blame and he must be getting twitched about it.

Pathetic really. No value whatsoever in doing that. Accidents happen, they should let it lie.

We had a little debate on if he should have pulled the parachute or not.

It is questionable if that a blow out is recoverable at that speed, I'm sure many of us have seen crash footage of topfuel drag racers when things go wrong, and thats with professional drivers.
