Default mapping software for a pda? also glass's guide etc?

the wife bought me a dell x51 for my birthday in september and i havent hardly used the damn thing, kinda feeling guilty so i better start using it


so....



what good software is about, glass's guide or cap black book guide etc would be awesome but dont think they do it? if the do i cant find it anywere to ahem dload etc

what about a huge map etc ? ive got a tomtom so no point me using it as a satnav

what else can i do with this thing? i just want her to see me making use of it lol

You can get tomtom onto it, or theres another version (cant remember the name) thats just as good.

Have a look at the subaru carPC project, they use the software on there.

You can get Glasses valuations off the Vauxhall website for free, not quite a PDF, but it may help.

try www.aximsite.com, there's all sorts of stuff there. You'll need a strong coffee though if you want to read anything on the forum!

I have one of those too, use it for email, MP3's, calender appointments synch with the work computer to keep important/usefull stuff at hand. It's taken about a month to the point where I use it every day now. Wouldn't be without it.

You could have a look at the Fugawi mapping software. I have it on an XDA Exec and it's very good. When I'm going walking or cycling I down load the area to my XDA and with the GPS you see exactly where you are on full OS maps.
