Question

Or is it just me?

When I switch it on I'm getting a screen that says 'No satellite signal is being recieved' I've tried ringing the helpdesk number about a billion times but it just tells me that all their agents are busy and to ring back later then promptly cuts me off!

Help!

check there's nothing blocking the line of site of satellite, and there is nothing covering the LNB.

Try unplugging the Digibox from the mains, wait 30seconds then plug back in.

If that don't work, your looking at a new box!!

Scoobychick,

Mine does that too, sometime it's affected by the weather, is it snowing where you live, or thundering ?

Usually sorts itsself out in 30 mins, I think it's intelligent enough to reboot itsself after no signal is received for a while.

We have our TV on a sort of turntable affair we got form Ikea.

Most attempts to alter the angle of vision result in the SCART lead falling out. They really are bobbins connectors.

Picture quality was skipping last night, the weather outside was frightful.

i've had sky digital since it came out and had nothing but problems, everytime it rains, or windy or any type of bad weather it freezes and is totally unwatchable, after many complaints and many engineers coming out i called the other week to be informed that they would charge me £60 for an engineer to come out and then parts and labour on top even tho i've had the problems since installation.

i can't even use interactive, haven't been able to for 3 years now and given up phoning them, it comes up with unable to connect. When i called them 3 years ago they said it would be fixed within 24 hours, and after numerous phone calls and arguements its still not working.

sometimes when i turn the channels over it freezes completely as well and i can't get anything from it for sometimes over and hour.

pretty poor customer services i say.
