I really hate this progamme. It must be the most unintuitive thing ever made. I'm not a totally numptie normally but arrghhh!
Anyway I want to draw a right-angled triangle. Doesn't sound hard does it? The help function is as much use as a chocolate tea-pot. So how the hell do I do it?

Please sombody tell me how to do it before I throw the bloody PC through the window (this was not a good time to give up smoking)

Hang on - I'm just installing it.......

 

Errr.. get the pen tool (third one down left side of tool palette)

Hold down shift key which lets you draw straight lines and 45 degree angles. Join the dots... that's it.

Illustrator is an amazing package it just takes a long time to master Ive used it for 9+ Years everyday and I still dont understand all of it.
