Converting AMEX reward points to airmiles type scheme
Guys, flying to Oz for the GP in March, and thought it might finally be a good plan to redeem some of the reward points on my American Express.
My preferred airline is Virgin Atlantic, and I've ascertained that I can convert my points to their air miles type scheme.
Has anyone done this? I have 47,000 reward points but not quite sure how this translates to flights; if I'll get less than the cost of the phone call I won't bother.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
