ppl say that working for family or friends is worse and damn right it is, me and my brother had to sack my father iin law and his m8 as they refused to do a job like remove some cut down branches in a back garden of a property we have emptied for the council (sub contractors for council) as they had already done 5 jobs, it was 12:30, but everytime my mum and dad go to spain they play up and my dad has let them come back about 5 times nor, so me and brother thought thats it now, its either now or never, but usually they leave and then spend about 1 day **** sterring with friends lol they probably forget we all see one another.
my mum and dad owned the buisness
me and my brother sort all the jobs out, material, wages etc
my little brother is one of our carpenters
my uncle (dads brother) is one our plumbers
my other uncle (dads brother) is our builder/labourer
my mother in law used to clean private/council houses with a close friend of everyone
father in law (used to work for us lol) cleared council houses with close friend
my auntie (mums sister) used to be our secretary but within a yr of doing a college course she turnt up 3 times lol **** take.
but nearly every trade we,ve had close friends or family doing it, just sint worth it.

My father owns a multi national haulage company with over 600 in his fleet.
I dont take anything to do with it, we get on fine mainly due to the fact that i dont work for him. I did when i was 15/16 & i realised then that it would have been the biggest mistake of my life.
I am in responsible for a fleet of over 65,000 vehicles I am not the MD but ........................

I have a two very close friends though that work for there Dad, he owns the local bus company & he has around about 300 buses. They seem to do alright out of it. One looks after the fleet & one looks after the accounts but most of his family are employed there.

My father only has one of my cousins, one of my uncles & one friend working for him out of a staff of roughly 700 people.

i had to sack my brother a few months ago,
i run a coach company and when i went from a 16 seat minbus to the minibus and two coaches my brother came to drive for me,
hes a lot older than me but no good with money (the reason i went it alone and didnt go into partnership with him)
anyway when i got another two coaches and two more staff he would try and boss them (and me) about and **** stir.
the final straw was when he left a handbrake off a coach and it rolled into my garage wall smashing all the front in, the fact he tryed blaming it on another driver did it for me and **** hit the fan .......
