The laxatives are normally a long term 12 hour slow release food softener and immodium is a fast working 20-30 minute action so they would both work independently

On a similar note, the phrase 'sh** hot'. How hot is it and why is it used to comment on things that are meant to be good? 'Ooh your car looks like a very warm piece of poo', doesn't really have the same effect but it's still the same message. I don't get where the saying's come from.
