Someone calling for something happen, doesn't mean it will. There is absolutely nothing wrong with debating ideas. Most hospitals have a Chapel. Why should Christians be the only ones catered for?
I doubt this will get any further that discussion - The NHS is in enough trouble as it is, without adding extra pressure.

Are you telling me that there are no rubbish 'white' doctors too.
Like the one who told me that you get 'worms' from eating sugar
Or the one recently who said that if your baby has a temperature not to worry as it is irrelevant
Or the one who said that ALL babies will take oral drugs and then had our baby spit it out all over his face
I could go on but I won't...

Well, maybe incompetence was the wrong word, but certainly they were of a different culture and had their own prejudices which affected their ability to practise medicine.

Being anti Muslim is not racist.
There are plenty of white Muslims about.
Can we not just ban religion? It seems to be increasingly mocked, ridiculed and exposed for what it really is.
Maybe I shouldn't run for PM...
Don't care what colour anyone is, black, brown, green, yellow, but I do mind people hating each other because of some made up and loony ideals.
A Polish guy totally mucked up a blood test on me - Left me pi55ing blood and very bruised. But that doesn't mean I don't think Polish health workers are any good.

But to get back on track, I agree, incompetance is colour blind. However, the NHS should be a medical service only. You're ill, you go, get diagnosed and treatment recommended (hopefully !!!, if necessary). If your 'religion' says that you shouldn't get treated by a 'white infidel', or by someone with green hair, then tough. Go elsewhere.

And not sure what you mean by "only just" being the majority - The ratio is something like 10:1 White briton to Ethinic minority as a total population.
Obviously offering specialist care to Muslim people is unfeasbile, in terms of cost in money and time - However, I don't see a problem with having a multi faith prayer area for all religions.

What you get is sensasionalist right wing press making massive stories out of nothing. This story being a prime example. All someone has said is that it might be an idea to give treatment to Muslims based on faith. As it is, it will never happen. But there is no harm in debating it.
So why get worked up about? I'll tell you why, because you go for it hook line and sinker, exactly the way the right wing press want you to.

you say this nation has no religion i say we need religion or identity which is based on euopean christian values , the trouble is that theres thousends of you emerging from generations who has lost sight of the British way willing to let others walk all over you .
as regards to not funding muslims why is there a teacher at our local school probably earning 25k a year to teach 2 muslim kids english??
the masses dont like islam in our land fact why ? its not because there all lovely people with great values

No, it's because of inflammatory propaganda by the right wing meda demonising Islam. I mean it's not just been here since 2001 you know? I don't remember Islam being such an issue pre 9/11.
