Any other Ashton heads around?
From 88-96 my life was dominated by Thursday to Sunday nights out in Ashton 
(A-U-L).

I went out with a girl from AUL in 1986 when I was just 17!
I travelled 200 miles to stay with her twice, before it all fizzled out.
Still it was fun drinking Scrumpy in the park by the Bowling Greeen, we went in the Seven Stars pub if I remember rightly.
Ah, 'twas a romantic time of lost innocence indeed!
