There's an item on Ebay that needs another part to work properly,but i'm only after one of the items. I guess most people will be bidding for both. If i used my "second" ID and bid an outrageous amount for one (without intention of buying it) then that might put people off buying the part i want therefore i get it for a better price.

Acceptable tactics or "down and dirty"?

 

Down and dirty lol, but if gets you what you want, and you arnt bothered about what people would say or think, go for it i know i would.

 

yeah go for it, or have it bid up by a relative or something. i suppose as long as ebays c.e.o. doesnt frequent on here your okay!

I'd say i'm 60/40 against doing it. He's a dipstick for listing them separately,but i'd hate it if someone did it to me.
