Anybody into the above?

Im toying with the idea of replacing my old old analog dish and positioner with a newer diseqc equipped reciever.

Whats the normal sort of dish size to go for these days? around 90cm?

Anybody got any suggestions / advice or stuff they want to sell? - Currently have skydigital but Im going to leave that well alone as its free

Dish size will dpend on which satellites you want to lock onto. Try and get "what satellite" mag, it has required dish size and all the details of transponder frequencies, encryption types. This magazine is difficult to obtain these days but is very useful.

I used to read it years ago, back when I played with Analog stuff and voyager / d2mac etc...

I dont really want to go above 1.2m Really Need to have a look at what room I have.. From what I could see I was interested in one of the hotbird satellites.
