Just got back from a drive to Reims in France. Went over on the channel tunnel and back on the ferry. Very easy and pretty good fun. Highly recommend it.

Also bought a Tom Tom One Eurpoe before I went and I must say it is one of the bestbits of kit I have ever bought. Cost £198 from Halfords and it makes life SO much easier. Wish I'd got a satnav before! Its worth it just to avoid the domestic violence in the car (although we had a bit of a quarrel over it as my wife wanted to hold it all the time and enter everthing and tell me where to go :x ... she used to do all the map work so needed to feel needed .....we soon got over that and relaxed)

PS: averaged 34MPG at approx 85MPH cruising speed in france (850 miles in total) in my Honda DC2 Type R

Yep, sat-nav is a marriage saver and Reims is an eerie place, you can almost imagine the roar of the old racing cars when you're sat on the wall. I was there in 2005, at the start of a Euro tour based in Switzerland
