Sony ericsson P990i from vodafone - are these lock on voda network?
Hi
just want to know, are Sony ericsson p990i from vodafone directly normally locked on vodafone only? has anyone got one recently and tried putting another sim into it?

Mine isn't locked to the network but I got an early one so the later ones may well be but I've not heard reports they are.

You can check. Access the service menu.

If it's unlocked then the padlock icon will show it.

I'm with Vodafone and I *believe* their phones are locked. Thouch just upgraded the firmware recently and now it isn't ....
