Christmas fun.
We stayed with my sister for Christmas and were taken by some friends to the carol concert at the Albert Hall. We had great seats in a box in the gallery and I have to say that the singers and the orchestra were truly outstanding. We all had to sing the carols as well and everyone was enjoying that as well. Smiles everywhere! I have never been in there before and it was an occasion to remember.
We went to Brighton on Boxing Day and I achieved another first by going on the pier.
I had a go on the bumper cars which was hilarious, haven't done that for years and also tried the motor cycle game in the arcade. Now that was an experience and since I chose the nitrous option of course it would do back flips as well as wheelies during the race Great sport hanging the tail out speedway style on the bends. UB, you should have a go at that-you'd love it. I had to have a second go
Happy New Year to all,
Les

Yay Leslie! Lots of happy Christmas memories.
We started on the Friday night with a panto (Oh no we didn't! ) Then on Chrissy day there was 9 of us at our place. There was far too much food, everything was chaotic and it was as loud and as messy as hell - perfect! (And I just love Christmas maths - I had 6 bottles of champagne - I opened 3 and there are still 5 left! )
Boxing day more family stuff and lots of playing with our chrissy pressies!
Looking forward to a quiet new year with gorgeous hubby - who I'm trying to persuade to blow our chrissy money on an Xbox 360!
Happy 2007 to everyone!
