Started drinking with folk from work at 12.30pm . Finished up with them at 5pm, caught the bus home. Had a nap (getting too old for this ) and went out to local pub with my mates from 8.30pm at 12.30am !!
Now my face is this colour -

I woke up this morning, and thought "ok all good, no smell of chunder, dont feel sick" then moved my head slightly and it felt like woody the woodpecker was on it drilling away - seriously not good! I dont often drinky heavily, but when I do I seem to always get a nasty headache these days, never feel sick.
I dont understand the people who go out and get HAMMERED EVERY weekend tho, just seems utterly stupid to me. Fair enough every once in a while, but it seems a lot of people do one or two heavy nights every weekend.

Me and a mate went out last night at about 5pm, took a taxi the 5 miles into town, got a decent meal, drank about 15 bottles of heineken apiece, watched the three live matches (Hammers, the 'Pool and Chelski) and the local entertainment got a taxi the five miles home at about 3:30am, and then up for a hangover free breakfast at 10am
The key to the hangover free bit, The decent meal, the bottle beer, plenty of bottled water along with the beers, and a litre or so of orange juice in the morning
The best bit of all, we haven't spend £40 between us

To avoid a hangover take a Vitamin B6 or B complex together with about 2 pints of water before you go to bed. The B6 is used by your liver to process the alcohol so if you don't take a supplement the available B6 in your body is quickly exhausted and your liver cant cope.

Pete is right, you do know better by 25, but most of us still carry on (I'm 35 now!). What you do learn as CrisP said above, is to do things properly and don't go out and drink stupid amounts on an empty stomach in a very short space of time. If I've been out for a few beers, I always drink a pint of water and pop a couple of nurofen before going to bed - never get a hangover Also avoid horrible cheap draft lager - that is a killer.

Welcome to Scoobynet, when you recieved your email about signing up there was a slight error in it. You have to post a few pictures of yourself on an introduction thread.

Same with me, but last night there was lager, vodka cocktails, vodka doubles, JD, then cocktail shots, then more vodka
I then went into the casino and won £85 from one single 50p chip someone gave me
Wasnt a bad night at all
But a little hungover this morn, but tea and toast has sorted that out.
