Default Quick HD TV question

If I have a non HD TV and put a HD signal through it will it work at all? Obviously it won't be in HD

Not sure, but if it doesn't work straight out of the box adjust the output settings on the source and you should be ok

No because the set wont be able to downscale it (to 576 TV lines).

Thats a problem then. I'm about to buy a small lcd for the kitchen and wanted something cheap ie probably not HD ready. The signal is a 'split' from the lounge, which at the moment isn't HD but at sometime will be. That means that when I do upgrade the lounge to HD the kitchen tv will not work!

I would have thought a Sky HD box will work if you connect the kitchen TV to the aerial output and the lounge TV to the HDMI or Component.

Correct.

Aerial and Scart outputs are SD and all outputs work at the same time.
