As long as idiots are prepared to fund his programmes (premium text messages) I don't mind too much. Most of dross like this seems to be on ITV. It's when similar formats are used by the BBC channels I get peed off.
Didn't he make £100m when selling one of his companies recently?

sure it's low-rent ITV cobblers that makes millions from the phone-ins but you don't have to watch it & it ain't paid for by the licence fee.

Not just the programme that we have to suffer, there's 'X factor all areas' and countless other crap programmes examining what the contestants each had for breakfast ........and then you must remember that these are all repeated on sky around 100 times per week
Go figure

The trouble is, it lowers the quality bar of many other programmes. Copycat programmes, programmes with the same slot, and, quite possibly broadcasting as a whole, gets sucked down to an even sh1ttier level.
All in the name of getting higher audiences or extra income from text maniacs. Even the BBC chases audiences with some repetitive and mind numbing programming. IMHO of course
