If it's him that's excellent news. There were reports that it was some itinerant that had already fled back to Europe.

Its probably a arrest to make them look good, he will be bailed, and then in a few months no further action taken, as i agree the police didnt seem to have a thing on him

He had become particularly close to Tania Nichol, 19. He told the paper that he started making contact with the prostitutes of Ipswich 18 months ago after his eight-year marriage collapsed. He strenuously maintained he had nothing to do with the disappearance or murder of any of them.

I bet its bad news if you get arrested for anything around Suffolk at the mo as the neighbours aren't going to think Drink Driving, Tax Fraud or Pub Punch up when the Police van arrives are they.

LOL I didn't want you to bite, Im not bothered really, just was the first thing I thought of when I heard they arrested someone.

Again we have to presume hes innocent until charged although I wouldnt say thats outwitting them, you cant go around arresting people on the basis that you think it might be until you have some sort of evidence. There wasnt much time between the bodies being dumped etc and I think if they have got him then theyve done pretty well at picking him up ina reasonable time frame. IMO off course

True. When did you last hear a neighbour being interviewed, say: 'he was outgoing and friendly and had a lot of friends...' ?
