National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
What a film, absolute classic, now I know its on but does anybody know when ?
Is it just me that loves it, mainly cos its funny anf has Chevy Chase in it, but also for Beverley D'Angelo, phwoar !

Nope dont know when it is on
BUT I dont really care, cos last week I bought a boxed set of the 4 'Vacation Films' on DVD from ASDA for a tenner
So I plan to watch Xmas Vacation sometime over the festive period

Don't know when its on but will be watching this thread to find out. Its certainly not just you though, Chevy Chase is one the funniest comedians to come out of the US and I don't think I have ever seen a cr4p performance from the bloke, he always makes me laugh.

Vegas Vecation ( I watched this the other week tho)
The other film I want to watch this christmas is A Wonderful Life
I have that already so dont need the tv for that one, will both be watched on a 7 foot screen through my projector

Yes he does star in all of them
IIRC the kids are different actors in the Vegas one, (either that or grown up a bit) but its still Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid
I had forgotten about the Aunt PMSL, didnt they have a dog too ?

Indeed they did have a dog.
The poor thing got spread half way across a state, due to Clark forgetting he tied the mutt to the repair bumper

National Lampoon's Vacation was the first time i ever fell in love and couldnt get a woman outta my head
The part when that lovely blonde in a tiny short white dress (Christie Brinkley
) in the Ferrari over took them and gave him a smile, well that was the first time i really felt i was in lust with a woman (think i was about 8), my god i got butterflys in my stomach, and a tiny tent everytime i watched it, i understood the importance of beauty at an early age 
Gonna have a quick gander on ebay after reading this thread, wonder if that part will still have the same effect (the tent should be a little bigger now tho, well only a little
)
