brothers friend (same guy who's after the cheap av amp) has ps2 and mentioned he wants to hook it up to the amp he might get, so want to know what connections it has.

Sorry, don't have a piccie, but the amp connection (presuming you're talking an AV amp) is optical (TOSlink).

All the best,

Don't have a piccie, but it does have a digital audio output. The alternative is to connect the amp to the ps2 to scart lead, which has integrated audio outpus

The PS2 end looks like a Sony own brand connector. The lead then has AV outs (red and yellow jack connectors) and a scart end

Not sure if I've got the right end of the stick - if it's the PS2 end of the video cable then it's Sony's own connector - it's the same as PS1 by the way & apparently the PS1 cables do work, although I've not tried it myself.

PS2 doesn't have RF as standard but there's probably an add-on cable (although I hope it's cheaper than £25 for a official RGB scart!).

Cheers,

Dean
