Bring back Village/Town Plods
Who wants an Asbo !!! You can get them quite easily, Once acquired you can flash them around with your Mates to inflate your Status within the Local hooligan club. !!!
I live in a small country village that used to have a resident Bobby, He's long gone property sold moved to the Big Nick which is only manned during the day & is 10 miles away.
So the Mindless few @rseholes know that there is a slim / next to no chance of being caught doing any mindless thuggery.
Surely the money saved by removing all these country Bobby's has long been lost eaten up six fold by the judicial services overload whilst trying to maintain some sort of law & order.
If you had Local resident Bobby's patroling the villages & towns @ staggered times, getting to know the locals, WHo's who, Who does what & catching the Armholes in the act would make a big difference to our community's.
For instance a few weeks ago some totally insane mindless FeckWit semi buried a knife, blade up in the Kiddies recreation ground, The blade was a Kitchen style knife & left near the swings & Slide.
now with the Christmas light fetish eveyone has they go around wrecking these !!!!
Where will this all end !!!
I know the bigger towns have the Community Patrol officers but they are in a very dilluted form but it seems the villages are now attracting a free for all yob culture !!!
