Weather has gone ballistic in central London this morning. Thunder, lightning, heavy rain, hot hail. This is no storm, it's an attack!

Sunny now.

Kensal Rise, North London........... if you live there you may want to be calling a roofer in the next few days

I watched it unfold out of my office window looking north from the city. Mental, the thunder made the building shake

I don't live anywhere near, thank goodness Nothing to say that it won't hit the rest of the country though, depending on the direction it is taking!

If it's anything like wizard of Oz, I think they're need more than roofers!

Seems to be a random 'pop up..... remove a few roofs/chimneys/fences/trees..... then disappear' type tornado, shocking all the same

Thats the Tornado habit DCI, they actually pop down from a very active cumulo-nimbus cloud and can then pop back up again. I saw it once in Omaha and it is pretty terrifying.

Can't wait until they're replaced by the Eurofighter. Much more predictable.

Prepare yourselves for London in morning followed by a nationwide 2 minute silence in respect of the slate tiles from No. 3 through 17 being blown away

It gives new meaning to the phrase "a touch of wind"!

Weather has gone mental everywhere, this is the view out of my lounge window ATM:

Give it 48 hours for all the stuff that's fallen in Wales today and I think I might be going to the pub in waders!

That reminds me - Jim gave me a package to deliver to you urgently, but he had a bad mobile signal. What was your address again?
