Beyond his family and friends, perhaps not. He was a f*cking brilliant football player though. The best in the world, according to Pele.

Hotel Porter to George Best as he brought him another bottle of bubbly, looking at the room where there were 3 former Miss Worlds naked in the bed, the current Miss World in the shower, a suitcase of £50 notes, caviar in fresh bread for sandwiches, 15 empty bubbly bottles on the floor, FA Cup winners medal on the bedside cabinet ................

Name one good thing that George Best did in his life, that outweighs the fact he stole someones liver that could have gone to a far more worthy life ?
he had a few good years in his prime and youth, and decades of bad ones
I doubt anyone could say that in the last 20 years George Best has been their inspiration and role model (cept chav scum bingeheads )
