Mine will go up in the middle of the month, however most people in my neighbourhood have already done the National Lampoons decorations on their lawns and homes! It is traditional for people to decorate their homes the day after thanksgiving, which this year was on the 23rd of November!!!!
A whole month of blazing lights and 8 foot inflatable santas!!!
Even had carol singers last night with a trumpet!!!! Was going to let the dogs out, cost me $5 to get rid of 'em!!!

put mine up yesterday.
we did it after my littleones birthday last year, but it was the 21st before we could do it, so he didnt really appreciate everything.
this time he thought it was fantastic, he decorated the same branch all evening.. he couldn quite grasp the concept of putting baubles on different branches, so they kept going on the same branch, nothing like mum and dad, to move them around
