i brought a engine off ebay on the 18th of this month and 12 days later i still have not recieived it. when i spoke to the bloke i brought it off today he contacted the warehouse he sent it to be despatched from and according to them they don't know why i haven't had it. he refuses to tell me what courier service he has used or to give me their contact details, but has sent one of his men down there to find out whats going on

apparantly he will contact me once he knows, but what i want to know, even though i do have a odd feeling myself, have i been conned?

If he will not tell you the courier service then i think thats a bit dodgy everytime someone has sent me a parcel by courier they've had the decency to tell me who it is and if possibly a tracking number.

refuses point blank too, i even offered to come and collect the engine last week, but he said no to that too. i've got his address so there is no stopping me still doing this.

at least he is still contactable,give him a dead line and then take appropriate action if still no joy..first option is the refund

Can you contact the warehouse or is this the courier that he's 'used' and won't tell you about?

If you've 'paid in full', then it's your property and he should not withhold any information about it.

Tell hime that unless you hear by sy close of play today you'll be approaching trading standards, ebay, paypal etc.

indeed there is mate, this wagon is jonxed i'm telling you. had nowt but **** since we brought it, but got sound mechanic now helping us out and as long as we do what he says to do it we shouldn't get to many more problems with it. once we got engine in then we can have the headers fitted, plus new clutch and away we'll go. after that plan to get remap and hope we get 300bhp. wagon has changed quite a bit since the last time i posted a pic up on here.

i hope you get the engine my brother had the same problem with a guy on ebay we was told he sent the right engine but when we got it to the garage it wouldnt fit so we said we'd send it back and we want a refund he only gave us a partial refund and said it was our own fault! cheeky git

had to go and collect the engine in the end ourselfs from essex, the bloke we brought it off conned us. he never see's what he sells, he orders it from this place in barking and then gets them to send it out.
anyway everything turned out ok in the end, engine is in and the car now shifts like a spitfire on speed.
