Nowhere near Dance music does not make good albums.

DJ mixes on the other hand..... a completely different kettle of oysters. They too went through a real dip during that time... (mid 90s) It was a bad time for music in general.

Indeed it was

Too many years spent at Rock City in the 90s and going to see lots of bands Never got into dance music per se but don't mind the odd track here and there. Like a mixture of all sorts really, predominantly metal though, but classical, blues, pop, all sorts really.

not a bad line up, blue lines in probably in the top five albums of all time.....

was the first cream one in the rubber black sleve? Not sure a cream compilation is a top album, but sasha and digweed part 1 is one of the best DJ mixes around! Might have put the fugees in there, would definetly put Dr Dre The Chronic from 1992 in there, and certainly an Oasis entry, and The Verve, most likely, The Prodigy, I actually liked Fat of the land, and potentially Roni Size considering how timely his first album was....

Ah, guns and roses, can't think about 90's music without mentioning them! The Stone Roses, definetly!!! The Mondays, maybe??? Hard to remember of the top of my head as most of the mid-nineties kind of morphed into a blur, mainly thanks to living in Ibiza!!! Which wonderstuff album had The Size of a Cow on?

Erm, wanna re-write that first one in english?
and for the record, "hardlife" is anything but happy hardcore. Listen to "product of society" if you want proof.

NO!!!! Chicane is going for that price??? My brother used to do some PR for him and when I moved from my old flat about four years ago, there were at least a dozen demo CD's, brand new sealed, that I just chucked out on eBay for a fiver!!!!

Probably a hundred notes each if they were sealed - very collectible

In no particular order:

Oasis - Definitely Maybe
Blur - The Great Escape
Radiohead - The Bends
Guns n Roses - Use Your Illusion 1
James - Laid
Massive Attack -Protection
Bjork - Debut
Faithless - Reverence/Irreverence
Happy Mondays - Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches
Oscar Petersen - Night Train (remastered, yeah I know it's cheating)

Rage Against The Machine & Urban Hymns don't quite make it because I've always felt that they weren't quite as good as they should have been, Awesome high points but the low points on both are just too low
