What gets your vote as most controversial thread ever on SN?
Hi all,
I've seen a few on here recently that have sparked a lively debate, but I'm a relative newbie
Do any of the old school remember some good un's
What do you think is the most controversial thread you've seen on SN?

"controversial" suggests to me that you have to have about equal for and against. As opposed to "Argumentative" which would be most of those in CWE, and often involving moses vs the rest of the world, or those with Nacro in his many incarnations, or Mycroft.
I think I'd go for all the threads about when the P1 came out, and was it better than a JDM STiV.

I once posted a question as to why lorry drivers were NOT allowed to bring London to a standstill in fuel protests, but the pro-hunting community WERE allowed to do so a few weeks later.
The thread descended into a pro-, and anti- hunting argument, and ran to about 14 VERY heated pages
I didn't get an answer to my question, either

There was WW3 back around 2000 with Harj, Stef and I think Shaun featured but not sure if this was our beloved webby or another Shaun. I wonder if webby can recall?? I tried a search but a lot has been deleted.

The one about Anders' 22B was quite heated too
Then there was the one about the chap whose brother shot squirrels out of his window, and his lazy dog wouldn't pick them up of the back patio.......
Most of the "world events/affairs" forum were quite good - hence the reason why it got shut down!!
Today's "heated" posts aren't anywhere NEAR as good as the old ones (too political/racial etc)
