Default Christmas cards, rmhc charity

I was wondering if i could interest anyone in some xmas cards

Mcdonalds are selling xmas cards this year which most of the money from the sale goes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. I am a Employee (no, i dont want large fries with that ) and have offered to try and sell some as I think that any money made for kids at this time of the year would be amazing.

This pack contains four cards featuring an exclusive design from award winning children's author and illustrator Tony Ross.

Every pack sold between October and December 2006 will raise at least 65 pence for RMHC- Ronald Mcdonald house charities

There is more information on RMHC on their website RMHC - Ronald McDonald House Charities - Supporting families with children in hospital

The cards are 99p a pack and the postage will be 50p, I will not be making any money at all from this, I am just tryin to do my bit.

I must admit it is a bit expensive for just 4 cards but I suppose its more about why we are buying the cards

If you do want any pm me for my paypal addy or leave your name and ill pm you the addy

Thanks very much

I wouldn't trust a company like McDonalds to give the Charities all the money. They'll be making a pretty profit out of it. Hence why I won't be buying any.

Out of the 99p at least 65 pence goes towards the charity, and obviously the 50 is to just cover a stamp and envolope.
I cant see why they wouldnt actually put that money towards this particular charity

I only buy Christmas Cards with a religious theme on them.

Have you got any examples of the pictures on the cards?

Thanks

All 4 cards are of the same design which is a bit stupid imo but as ive said before its more about the charity than the cards

Good work trying to do your bit, mate, but I already buy my cards from the RNLI.

It's always going to be tough trying to raise money for charity on behalf of a corporation like McD's....

Yeah, I tried but looks like im fighting a lost cause. I obviously can't force people to buy them, I just thought it was for a good cause.
Thanks for the comments

well done for supporting them, and offering to do your bit - not many people do!!

I buy the Cancer Research cards ( as I volunteer for them) but wish you luck in selling yours!!
