I'm hopefully moving to harrogate in the New Year and want to get a decent broadband set up. Which provider is everyone using at the moment? I'm after a fast connection but won't be downloading all that much.

I've ben using Demon. From the performance of their (Indian) Customer Services department over the last year, I would personally recommend to anyone thinking of taking out a new connection to avoid Demon at all costs. Each time I think "it's only one minor thing to sort out, not worth changing a long standing email address" etc. Each time, I end up wishing I'd bit the bullet and changed to anybody else

Tiscali are doing upto 8mb for £17.99/month. Ive been with them for about 4 months, goes a bit slow at times but never had a major problem. Im upgrading to 6-8mb from 2mb at the mo, so cant comment on full speed.
