Question Which Private Plate?

Thinking of getting me own p-plate as a crimbo present, and have been looking for the past few days at the millions of combinations available. Ive narrowed it down to 2....my initials are MSP, and my first name is Matt, so it's out of the following:-

X7 MSP

or

M70 TTP

Obviously the first option is a plate with my initials in, and the latter option spells out (kind of) Matt P.

Which one do you think is best, your opinions are appreciated,

Matt

Just like buying a jap mobile with a huge spoiler and exhaust - people laugh at that too.

At least with a private plate - you wont lose money

Get the initials, the other one will never look like matt and if it does you might as well drive around with 'pigs are *****' on your car

Matt, don't bother. Both are awful. Spend it on something better.

look at english dateless. more money, but they do exactly what a private plate is supposed to;
1. personalise the car and;
2. disguise the age of the car

If BMW ever bring out a HUGE 4x4 your first plate might be sold to a Scottish Member of Parliament?

But I dont think so.

Surely buying a crappy personal plate will devalue your car and thus decrease your council tax............ so buy either

I'd say neither - not meaningful enough to be worthwhile and not discreet enough to be classy.

Like others have said before, spend the dosh on go/stop faster bits instead...

Sure, that's why the US embassy has USA 1, USA 2, etc. Similarly for the Indian and Zimbabwe embassies. The Prince of Wales has HRH 1 I think, and nearly all of the cars which pull up outside the Savoy have private number plates (except taxis). Not sure any of the above are "pikeys".
