We are going to Berlin the Saturday before Christmas until Boxing Day and wondered what was there to do [2 year old to consider so one is the zoo].

My wife spent 4 years in Spandau as an Army kid and wants to go back and see the old haunts [though she was only 7].

Any ideas.

Judging by Google Earth the Barracks have been converted into residential places.

I went there last year with some mates on a three day long stag do.

My recomendations probably are not the best for a family holiday!

It's a wonderful city.

The Irish Pub in the underground shopping mall near the Blau Kirche keeps an excellent drop of Guinness and has some good groups as well. Worth an evening out I'd say.

I'd still love to have another Jagershnitzel even now-enjoy.
