Ask for your PAC code from Voda as you wish to leave saying you;ve seen a far better deal on another network. they'll budge. They will always try it on first as they are in it to make money. Some people must just upgrade as they continue to do this.
Failing that Orange do unlimited texts on some contracts now. could save you a fair bit.
N73 looks good. Depends what you want from your phone?

Flext 35 (£180 allowance per month) is £30 a month and you can use that for 1800 texts or 900 mins or a mixture of both (1000 texts and 400 mins for example) and the D900 is free. Only downside is 18 month contract.
Three's "Direct Text 1400" tariff is pretty good too....
18 month contract, however -:
300 mins (600 mins for 6 months)
1000 text (2000 texts for 6 months)
50 video mins
50 pic messages
£30 per month (£15 per month for first 12 months!!!!!!)
Three do the N73 but not the D900.

Its what your network gives you to provide to your new network so that they can port your old number to your new contract.
Its a red rag to the "contract retentions dept" as they don't want to lose you, so will hopefully try and keep you happy to avoid giving you your PAC.

i think i am am a t-mobile contract that costs around £17/month and i get 100mins free, must be an old plan as its not on the site, its very rare i use my phone these days and have thought about going onto PAYG but i feel they are a bit scummy and charverish
i think my last bill was £22 for the month including the line rental, maybe the flext plan would be better for me

Think is ,I have a land line at home and work. The only other time is in the car.If I can't live for 30 minutes not speaking to someone then my life must be over.
As to the thread, our local market stall has some pretty amazing deals on handsets.Honest! (well probably not honest)

I just ordered the K800i from Voda on a 12 month contract Also new price plan which knocks about £20.00 a month off my bills after asking for the PAC so it does work

I was going to get one of those but the engineers at my work have just been given them and they have nothing but problems. Already sent 2 back. It does look lovely though.
I really wanted the N80 but they don't do it anymore also because of software problems

Nokia issued a software upgrade for the N80 to fix the issues but Orange use there own software version and pulled the phone rather than updating the software.
This has left Orange customers with N80's in limbo, upgrade the software and Orange refuse support, leave the phone on Orange software and put up with the issues. Orange refuse to change the phone blaming the problem on Nokia.
Very poor service from Orange.
