Default Just ordered a new gadget!!!

Anybody got one of these....Clicky

Can anybody recommend a cheap set of noise cancelling earphones??

not nec. cheap, but sennheisers are great. Think mine were about 60 quid.

Really good on planes too, even when not plugged in to anything, just drowns out the background!

yep, got the AV700TV - great bit of kit - havent used the tv side of it much (freeview) but got all my music collection and many dvd's on it.

Another bonus is that it plays pretty much any codec avi so bittorrent downloads are no problem for it. Also output to tv is pretty good via SVHS.

Downside - the built in speakers are shockingly bad - very quiet, no memory card slots, no wifi, only USB2

Koss Sparkplugs, £10-£15. 8 months later still great and could cancel all tube noise out.

Yep - Sennheisers are the way to go - I paid about £95 for mine.
