Question Help Needed To Entertain Kids...

I was sposed to be going up to Blackpool tomorrow night to see the lights with my fiancee, 11 year old sister in law and 6 year old nephew.............but they have been switched off for the year don't know why but I thought they'd be on until Christmas :S

So, anyone got any ideas as to what to do instead, can't be in the day cos of work. Walsall are finished too, I've already checked.

Anyone know of anything similar to do - any decent Christmas lights up already etc.

Get thinking people...

doh.. just typed a huge response out and it wouldn't post !!!!

anyway.... Blackpools lights are usually switched off at the end of October, the only time they were left on over xmas was back for the millenium.
Morcambe have lights also.. but not sure if they are up for xmas either??

what about a large shopping centre... we have the Metro centre in Newcastle.. they usually have some excellent xmas displays around the whole centre... they also have Metroland too... an indoor funfair... the kids love it... roller coaster, pirate ship, lots of kiddies rides etc.

not sure where you are in the country or how far you're prepared to travel?

Newcastle Christmas lights aren't being switched on until 16th Nov. May be similar everywhere else.
The big shopping places have theirs up now. You may be as well to take them to the cinema
