DECT Home phones - headsets ?
Does anyone know if you can get a DECT cordless phone with a headset on so you dont have to prop the phone on your shoulder while you are walking around talking to people.

The only ones I've seen are wired ones. You obviously need a DECT phone with ear-piece connector - there are some about. But found I never used it 'cos it was too much of a faff .....
Just get a phone with a speaker now - just prop it on the table if I don't want to hold it. The Panasonic ones have pretty good speakers. None of the BT ones I've tried have though ...
Hope that helps.

Thanks Dave. Mother wants to wander round the house doing other things whilst on the phone to me, cos obviously my conversation is far too boring....

Just thought when i saw this thread again. What about those BT packages where the mobile transfers *seamlessly* to the landline via bluetooth when in range? Haven't looked at them myself but if they have bluetooth they *could* have handsfree. Haven't looked into them though.
Remember if it's bluetooth then she'll still have to stay more or less in the same room as it doesn't have that much range. My Nokia + Jabra headset cuts out fairly soon in the house when moving about so you still have to carry the phone about.
Tell your mum you'll only phone when she's sitting down with a cuppa ....
