Remembrance.
I watched the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance last night and was impressed at how well it was done this year. It seemd to have a bit more "zing" and the military music and singing was excellent. The most stone hearted advocate of binning the remembrance of the armed services personnel who fought for this country could not have failed to appreciate what they did on our behalf.
The service this morning at the Cenotaph was also very moving. I watch these occasions out of a sense of duty towards those brave people who were prepared to put their lives on the line to protect this country from those evil forces and also our future. It is good to see how many others obviously feel the same way.
Long may it continue.
