Default garmin i3 buggered up

had it since jan so luckily still warentee remaining but the bloody thing freezes and looses signal for long periods of time, fookin thing has made me totally lost several times this last couple weeks lol

not wishing to criticise, but have you not thought about keeping an atlas in the boot, just in case???

Have you updated the software from the Garmin updates page? The last two GPS's I bought had buggy software that caused it to freeze. In both cases software updates came out within a few days which stopped this happening.

In the early days of a newly released model all units are bound to come with early versions of software and early versions of software are bound to be buggy. As they fix it quickly and software updates are so easy I've not got a problem with this, I'd rather have the new toy now than wait 6 months for them to iron out all bugs.

yer thats the first thing i done when it started messing up m8 just have to send it in for repair spose

I love mine.Despite at the weekend it telling to take a 'sharp left' on the A1 (M) whilst doing 70mph.
