Default Torque wrench

I need to re-torque the head on my car (Saab, common fault) and have the instructions etc, in the past I have always borrrowed them so was thinking that seeing as I will save by doing it myself and not taking it t a garage I may as well buy one this time.

Any suggestions as I know its one of those things where you get what you pay for, I also need a decent set of star bits as the head bolts have them rather than a normal bolt.

Halfords do good tools from my experience, I have a torque wrench form halfords and it is very good I think their tools are made by one of the larger manufactureers aswell although I may stand corrected, and you also get a lifetime garuantee!!!

not done a saab head, came close mind!!

is it a click type wrench you need? or an angle type?

the click type.. halfords, the angle (not the old long bar that moved over the scale) type, i would recon a semi decent motor factors (sykes picavant) spring to mind, you may be lucky, and find one in halfords though

torx bits, again halfords, but i seem to recall my local motot factors used to do head kits (star& torx type bits)

what saab btw

I have had a Britool one for many years and it has been totally reliable and remained accurate too.
