Hi guys

I'm going to be arranging a stag weekend for my brother next year and was wondering what of the following would be best to do....I'm pretty shore number 4 will probably be the most popular choice.

1. Karting

2. Going for a rally day somewhere(would this work for a group?)

3. Arrange some sort of track day event? my uncle has some rather fun cars he takes to Santa Pod we could maybe have a play with...along with our scoobys of course! (can you arrange private track days?)

4. Me and my brother both have scoobys and have been thinking of taking them to the Nurburgring for a while maybe this is the time to do it!, the only problem I can see is the affordability of it for the rest of the party if it doesn't cost too much I think this is what we would ideally want to do.... could be good fun driving there in a convoy too.

Before anyone mentions it I have thought of paint ball but I don't really want him to be black and blue on his wedding day.....I'd probably end up black and blue myself!

If anyone has some info or advice about the above ideas it would be appreciated, I'm not organising anything just yet but thought its probably a good idea to gather some info first.

Simple - have two stag do's

A buddy at work did this.

he had 5 days in Tenerife and had another at the dogs and a p*** up afterwards for those who could not afford to go to Tenerife

 

Go to latvia

Do all of the following!

1, Go go-karting (awsome large inddor track with twin engine karts)
2, Go fire an AK47 & ozee! did thiswith a hang over great fun!
3, Hire a limo with strippers! This will stay with me for life!

The rally day might be good, if all the people going have similar interests and enjoy cars/competition.

For my stag do we went to watch 1000 lakes rally in finland. Mixing, **** up/banter (no hooker unfortunetly ), with cars.

Maybe an idea if there's an event on near the time abroad. Usually works out cheaper than viewing here too!

 

1000 lakes in finland is the name of the rally, but we actually have 167000, could be more.
load of my mates have done the latvia trip, cheap as chips flkights, and then when you're there everything is dirt cheap. all can enjoy.

i had two stag do'd one at the ring, and one **** up in Manchester for those not arsed about cars

stay in Teirgarten hotel +49 2691 92200, eat steak and drink beer, its good, just check nothing else is taking up your weekend and messing up the track time, you can find bookings on web, see link for **** heads

go to spain, we went for my stag and was quality, took over the club when we started to sing vindaloo lol.

Or fly to Northern Germany on a cheap ticket, hire cheap cars when you get there, and go to the ring........

The idea of having two stag dos is quite a good, that way everyone is happy...depending on the cost etc I think I'll go with the Nurburgring
idea as that's what me brother wants to do, then have another night at home for those that cant make it.

Bateman the idea was that most if not all of us would be going on the
track ...not shore about my brothers friends but my cousins are totally up for
it ....one of my cousins is talking about taking his bike to prove that its faster than mine or my brothers scooby .....thing is hes a nutter on bikes so he'll probably win...or die trying .....guess its best to just let him win

its not bad money about £200 each with Euro tunnel, but we had 3 per car so the price was less and had double rooms, track time is not bad i think its about 12 or 14 euros but they get less if you buy a bigger ticket, i got two loads of 8 laps, everyone drove but i did more lap as i've been before and ended up doing lots of quick laps so everyone got a good go round

its a days drive to get there and back, but its not that far into Germany, nip accross through Belgium

get your car sorted before you go though, race pads like Mintex 1144 on the front as a min or you will just get brake fade and spoil your fun

hotel is about 2 mins from the track entrance and your are actually in the middle of the circuit, they are best priced really, nice rooms and the resturant has lots of racing bits and bobs everywhere, you cant taste the anticipation in the air!

if your interested i managed a 9:19 in a 138BHP Celica SS1 but do take care its easy to get it wrong and they charge for damage to track and recovery if you do bend it or break down you need this number +492691302215 for some moustached german with a truck and broom!!

but i promise if you like cars you will love it there
