I watched 'most' of it last night and was truly shocked at how bad it really is..!

Lol, how about them taking the **** out of the vids sent in of people having a go a presenting..! Talk about people in glass houses..!!!

It's as if Tiff and Plato are on contract now to do the odd review, they were the only reason to watch IMHO.

The new guy, Lovejoy WTF..?, is absolutely crap and seems to know fu@k all about motoring..FFS. In fact, he's worse than the fat guy and thats saying something (pity he didn't get totalled on the quad BTW..).

TBH VBH has always done my doughnut in with all her squeals and squeaks from her 50 a day voice box. Now she's just trying to be a comedienne along with the rest of them.

Nice cups, especially the one with stripes..!

Utter B@llocks I'm afraid..!

I usually sky+ it and watch it later, going 30x through the crap bits - previous episodes have taken around 20mins to watch but I actually thought that last nights wasn't too bad.

Tom Ford on the quadbikes - mmm, was ok
Tiff testing the Suzuki swift sport - proper road test, not just a throw around a track piece
VBH in the racing truck - again, was watchable
Plato in the 500 - no complaints, decent review on it's handling, interior trim etc
Loveboy shadowing the traffic cops - again, watchable, only just.

The only crap bit was the 205 being taken apart. Plus the two of them inside the cafe.

It's getting better, still nowhere near the quality of TG though.

I thought it was watchable and Tim Lovejoy is pretty much ok as a presenter.Vicky Bloke-Henderson makes me cringe at times but with precious few motoring programmes on telly its hardly worth knocking it

I really only watch it now, so to enter the competition, and last nights was a bit cr@p but entered anyway.

VBH is just annoying now. Those squeaks just annoy me.

They should get rid of VBH and Lovejoy, and just have Tiff, Plato, and Ford presenting.

Ford doing the standard car tests (new A4, Yaris etc) as well as some of the features he's been doing (Japan car culture) etc.
Tiff and Plato testing the more potent cars. Having races on track, as well as having them both test cars on the Yorkshire Dales/Welsh moors etc.

Then it would be interesting and enjoyable. Worst thing they could do then is try to copy Top Gear (3 blokes having a laugh) although still giving a car away every week.

I'm sure he'll have a better one with the £50k or so he got for the advert.

5th Gear is awful and boring. I can't watch it live, i need to record it on sky + and forward the boring bits. Usually takes me 15 minutes to watch the programme!!

Text GEARC to 81555 and try for a free one.

Rated it pretty good considering what it is.

I only watched it last night for the GT500 report and sort of guessed what it would be like.....powerslides, white smoke etc etc etc.....

Im a fan of lovejoy as Im a massive Soccer AM fan, but he is well out of his depth on this - just seems too nervous and whats all this with trying to speak "proper"......just be yourself mate and stop trying to talk like Vicky!

I quiet like VBH (have fancied her since her maxpower days) but Im pretty sure she is told how to behave - would love to have seen her on Top Gear again with JC as before they were only together for one series (the one before the mega change into what it is now)....

Yep, utter ****e but this weeks was the most bearable yet. At least there were 2 proper reviews. I think they are trying to improve it because of all the flack they are taking. Still got a VERY long way to go though.

I caught the last half. I don't watch it normally because of many comments that have already been said above.
I was surprised to see Tim Lovejoy on it, just like I was the other day to find him presenting a cooking program! He's taking over! I think he must be getting bored of doing the same old jokes and routines on Soccer Am. That show hasn't changed in how many years??
Plato's the only good presenter on that show in my opinion, they ought to base it around him and get rid of the others.
Oh and what was the point in 'wreck my car' did I miss something???

5th Gear has gone way downhill lately with the new slightly camp Lovejerk - who treats it like some sort of daytime TV show and Plato and Tiffany only popping in once and a while to see who can do the most impressive powerslides ...

It's only slightly more watchable than Vroooom Vrooooom ... and that's aimed at retarded 4 year olds ....

LOL at the sky+, I'm just getting used to it - however I must say I watched most of the last episode.

BTW that truck at Brands - best lap by a top driver 1:01, my scoob did 0:59 with road suspension and I was limiting my top speed too (to 110 mind!) plus I'm easy on the brakes!

1000+ HP isn't much when its propelling 6 tons around!

The best bit of the whole show was the shot of Vickys **** as she got in the truck, the rest of it was boring as per, and your right that new Tim bloke should have stuck with football, in fact if he wants to swap with Helen Chamberlian then 'happy days'

I'll agree with that as well, there's definatly something that makes me want to chuck one up her. And it winds me up that I can't pinpoint what IT is lol

Is it repeated at all, or are there any torrents about?
