How about a day Zorbing, a ride in a hot air balloon, helicopter flight, or rally day!
Or a days pampering - sauna, facial, massage - that kind of stuff.

I paid for my mum to go have lunch on the Orient Express a few years ago - fairly pricey (circa £300 for a 4 hour journey with 7 course meal) but I shared the cost with my sisters.

"Experience of a lifetime" she said!

Since we lost my father, she's reluctant to do anything on her own

We were debating a meal out, Me, Mum, Bro & His GF

Flowers (delivered to work) - then meal?
