Anyone know whats happened to Brendan...
Hughes?
All the anti Muslim threads made me think of Brendan for some reason, probably because of his previous astonishment at some of the blinkered attitudes of many on SN and realised I haven't seen him posting here for ages. Anyone know if he is OK, he has always been a self confessed SN addict so strange he would just disappear?

Hi Bob, I just tried to drop off, really. Went on holiday for two weeks, came back, realised I had a busy autumn and that staying off SN would help.
I still need to ask some questions to the audience, but generally I think I should do something more constructive than reading/posting on here all the time. Going for the big Flounce Out isn't really me...

I know what you mean, I hardly come on here during the working hours of the week now as it wasn't doing me any favours at work. Still can't leave it for good though, spend most of my time when on SN in the bikers and computers forum and like you say its always a wealth of knowledge when you need an answer to something

and top gear isnt axed. We should see the new series before xms without hammond in the studio and recordin resumed in new zeleand the other day.

So, there is nowhere where it says it has been axed. I thought so. It has obviously been postponed and it will be back. I'll bet you a tenner it's back on screen when Hammond is fit again.

I'm not denying that they might well 'unaxe' it. Or perhaps they will let it slip from the schedules quietly and permanently once the publicity has died away.
Either way, I was really looking forward to the new series whose first episode would have been on err... now actually! As far as I'm concerned that's about as axed as it gets.

A programme is axed when it is taken off the screen permanently and no new shows are made. Top Gear has been POSTPONED until Hammond is fit again.
