what can i do?
Hi my daughter has just seen a dentist as she had a really painful tooth. I was told that she saw a polish dentist who kept saying dirty teeth dirty teeth. When my daughter asked her to clean them she said thats not her job and told her to get out. Now after that and knowing i had to pay nearly £16 for the checkup is there anything i can do, i phoned the dentist and spoke to a manager who told me the dentist who my daughter was seen by is leaving next week as she cant understand the english language. What would do?

Why did she tell her to "get out"? Seems a bit OTT. Was your daughter stroppy and offensive, by any chance?

when ive been to the dentist they have always cleaned my teeth .When i spoke to the manager she said the dentist was leaving as she couldent speak or understand english. If my wife who works in a shop spoke to a customer like that she would be in line for the sack.

Try these

Even if she is leaving, her attitude is wrong

How old is your daughter? Did you take her and did you make her clean her teeth before she saw the dentist? Would you like to work on someone who had not cleaned their teeth? I see this often with familys coming to the dentist, kids sitting eating crisps and drinking juice then expecting dentists to look in their mouths.
Fine if your daughter needed a scailing but having a dirty mouth with food or lot's of plaque from not cleaning that day or properly is just mingin. (We don't let kids see our hygenist on the NHS)
Maybe you should assist your daughters oral health, do it for her or watch and check depending on her age.
