Insurance price going up!
Just had my renewal notice from Norwich Union, sure enough, up from £500 last year, to £630. 
Just been on confused.com and got a quote from RAC for £483, so that's OK. Interestingly though, Norwich Union come out at £560 through confused.com! Wonder what would happen if I tried to take them up on that?

Because it's still £80 more than with the RAC! 
TBH I never liked being with Norwich Union as they outsourced big time to India, so I'll be able to sleep at night now. Unless all the RAC men are wearing turbans these days.

Just phone up Norwich Union and inform them that you can get a cheaper quote from another company. You'll stay with them, if they can match or beat your best quote. 9 times out of 10 it works. Has for me.
