That clip out of " That Peter Kaye Thing " along with the series is the finest material he has ever produced. Well worth every penny of the DVD.
The first series of Phoenix Nights was excellent, everything the guy has done after that has been utter dog babba.
Max & Paddy's thing is complete crap, Phoenix Nights II is average, and the stand up stuff is appalling, and embarisngly bad. ( like my spelling )
His best material was definately " That Peter Kaye Thing ", since he's become commercial its been nothing but useless.
All he ever does on interviews etc is repeatadly keep bumbling on " Garlic bread, Garlic bread " and the age old thing when you've run out of idea's - " whats all that about " along with the Tony Christie number which is well past its sell by date.
Shame, 'cos his early stuff is pure class.

Agreed on some points - M&P was funny as shows go but no where near as good as that Peter Kay Thing and Phoenix nights which was feckin hilarious.
