Can anyone recommend a finance company that will lend £35k (over 4 years with a 10% deposit and a balloon payment) for a car loan to someone with a poor credit history;
CCJ (late payment of a utility bill whilst working overseas)
Missed mortgage payment due to bank cocking-up direct debit.

Any pointers much appreciated.

Seems alot to ask tbh. Ive struggled getting people into cars for £3500 with less bad history than that.

To lend someone over £30k for a car would be considered a huge risk.

Trouble is you will get hammered, on the price and the interest.

Went round 'Carcraft of Rochdale' the other day, 20% interest and sheds at high prices, ratty Y reg Punto for 4960, new ones arent much more than that.

if it was your bank cocking up the direct debit then surely you can have that taken off your credit history???????????????

You also don't get a CCJ for paying a Utility bill "late". It takes a lot of ignoring of letters and phone calls to get to that stage.
