O2 problems
Just been having a nosey about on o2's website and came across an upgrade thing for pay as you go customers ... So as I was already on the phone to them about something else I decided to ask how much I would have off the price of a new phone ... (I've been on o2 for 10 years )
They say you get £5 off or £5 in credit for every £50 spent on the phone in calls, txts etc etc...
They then told me that I only had £15 which I queried as I put roughly £70-£90 a month credit on my phone. The bloke then told me I had upgraded my phone on 24th May 2006 I know nothing about this and have had the same phone for at least 18 months (which is normally unlike me)
I have now got to wait until tomorrow, for him to call the shop ask them, then call me back and tell me what is happening
Is it possible for someone to upgrade in someone elses name? Apparently it was even done in the local shop ... unless he is just saying that as he asked for my full address and postcode before hand.

apparently they said that my sim card had been put into another phone around the same time. My reply was more than likely as I have 2 phones and swap the sim over into the other if the battery dies in one. I told him what make and model phone it was and he said no its not that phone that it has been put in

Something simmlar happend to my mum, she had the phone for about 20 months, she called to up-grade and was told she already had 2 months before in bradford ? ! We live in stafford, after a lot of messing it turned out a member o2 staff had given whatever details you need to up-grade to some one who then went into a o2 shop and upgraded.
