Default Seat belt arm extension thingy for my little wife.

Hi chaps,

I foolishy bought a suprise new car for the wife - Corsa. Wonderful little 3 door car for her. Big mistake on my behalf.
She sat down, adjusted the seat into the tradtional "be as close to the steering wheel as possible" position. She reached for the seatbelt and she couldn't reach it! Bugger! So I'm now in the position of getting my ear chewed off for buying a car without consulting her first.
I've seen some cars that have them extensions for women on the small side, that come out from the middle pillar.
Please help my marriage. Does anyone know where I can get one of them extension things from?

I've tried Halfords and Vauxhall.

Cheers
Bal

i thought maybe something like the betterware catalogues... or a disability shop... they may have aids for reaching for the seatbelt??

alternatively.... get a metal coat hanger and bend it into a long length... maybe this would help her reach the belt?

or maybe she could get into the habit of grabbing the belt as she gets into the car .. saving that stretch backwards for it.??

She shouldn't be sitting that close to the steering wheel. If she has an accident it could be dangerous

1) Don't be such a ******* door mat. Take the car off the ungrateful midget b1tch.
2) If she is too small for a corsa then she is going to be too small for anything. Well.... except for...

Go to a breakers and find a Vauxhall Calibra, they come with these things as standard. Its a wee plastic arm that bolts to the upper seatbelt mounting with a clip on the end you feed the belt through. It can be positioned to hold the belt further forwards so she can reach it when getting in.
