New late night TV addiction!!- 'Wrecks to Riches'
On discovery-Realtime (sky 250)
Focusing on Barry White and his speed shop..
(cue pics of the walrus of lurve )
So far on the show, they have almost exclusively built these beauties:
http://www.supermusclecar.com/
http://www.supermusclecar.com/cars/c.../chevelle.html
Barry White mainly does Street 'Rods day to day though.
http://barrywhitesrrc.com/home.html
*It's NOT the show of the same name with VBH though!!!*
----
They take old 'sheds', so far muscle cars from the junkyard, and re-work them from the shell up and include modern technology within the muscle car shell such as big brakes, adjustable dampers and modern materials (ie: alu/composite subframes).
Then, they take it to auction at various hi profile car shows/auctions.. and they normally make a mint.
Cool as your old chap in a glass of water in the arctic wind!
It's what Sky+ and Series link was made for!!
